Okanagan Pizza chosen as a Healthy Food choice for School District 23

As of December 9^th 2010 Okanagan Pizza has been selected as a Local Healthy Food Choices for School Sales in School District 23.

At Okanagan Pizza we make a healthy pizza with protein rich flour, less oil, sea salt, and use Part skim Mozzarella cheese.

We make our own Whole Wheat and Gluten Free crust pizzas.  In our preparation we offer many versions of chicken pizzas to replace beef products.

Our 15” Pizza is cut in 8 slices and its $ 15.99 each, per pizza.  

Dietary Approval

As per Kristin Brown B.Sc. Registered Dietician of Harmony Nutrition Consulting,

She has stated that our Pizza falls in to the dietary nutrition for schools.

·         1 slice of  our pizza falls into the Choose Sometimes or Choose Most Categories which are allowed to be served in BC Schools
